Brian Aylward, from Mount Pearl, stepped on stage, on a bet, in 2005. Since then he has established himself as an international comedy act. Aylward's accolades include the Hong Kong International Comedy Festival, the Comic Of George Street (2010 Winner), Halifax's Funniest, and he won the provincial Great Canadian Laugh-Off 2010 (Yuk Yuks). Brian pioneered the English stand-up comedy scene in South Korea between 2007-2010 while working as a full-time ESL teacher. Now based out of Halifax, Aylward’s engaging stage presence and irreverent charm have made him the hilarious, must-see new act on the Canadian comedy scene.
